Apoio is a simple customer support software that helps users manage various issues that customers have. Each issues can be kept as an ongoing conversation, similar to a chat tool and when the issue is resolved or attended to, the user can close the conversation. Apoio strives not to hide the conversations that occur through email. Some application use advanced and complex filters to make it difficult to manage such conversations. However, Apoio presents an organized inbox that is able to pick up conversations from Facebook, Twitter and through email. Rather than having to pay for a system that will create individual accounts, Apoio provides access to one inbox for the team and this eliminates the costs associated with paying for multiple email accounts.

What is the history and popularity of the app?

The Apoio application was founded in 2011 by an organization known as 1+1 media. It is based in the Netherlands and focuses on web development. The inspiration behind the application comes from the even-increasing need to provide simplified help desk support and customer service.
